Construction

i am a business owner on the same block. it took me 5 months to get the permit for a little extension. and Deccan spice at 771 newark ave. extended the kitchen all the way back and now constructed a 10x10 cabin at back, also built a 2 storey building at the back without any permission. I suspect something fishy going on with city and the business owner. I would request immediate action for the same. How can he build and rennovate things without any permission. upon asking him for the same he replies saying he has contacts in the city where they would let it go without saying anything to him. i have stated my concerns to the mayor in a letter about the same, if he can build without permission the guess i was stupid to apply for the permission and wait and pay rent for my business for that period. you can google the pictures from 2011 and google the same for 2016 at google earth and see the difference yourself. also, the restaurant chops meat in open outside at the back which is a health hazard. please look into this matter immediately.
