Traffic Calming/Pedestrian Safety request
The intersection of Monmouth and Pavonia needs to have the crosswalk painted with thick vertical lines. There is no point to the speed bump and the signs that say stop for pedestrians in crosswalk if there is no painted crosswalk on the street. I fear it is going to take someone getting hit for something to get done. I requested this last year on the Jc fix it app. Well at least there will be a request to reference when someone gets killed.

Thank you for reporting! We will investigate
If streetwise stripping is being dispatched for the corner of Brunswick and Pavonia to paint the crosswalk and stop line. Are they going to only one block away paint the crosswalk at Monmouth and Pavonia? This was promised to be done, but the old app JCfixit, still waiting?????

Still no progress on getting the crosswalk painted. Update?
Does someone have to get hit by car for the crosswalk to be painted. A dog was already killed by a car at 10th and Monmouth. Check the police reports.
Is there an update on getting these crosswalks painted? Monmouth and Pavonia and Monmouth and 9th as requested in another post
90 days and no resolution. School has started and students use this crosswalk everyday. When someone gets hit, you can bet I will be posting this that nothing was done.
Status update?
120 days and no resolution. A kid got killed the other week and a crosswalk in a school zone is not a priority!?!?
Is there any update on this issue?
Any update? This spring will be year 3!
300 days later and a traffic safety issue still not resolved. This crosswalk connects two parks and is in a school zone.
It's been 3 years and not crosswalks!!! These crosswalks connect to the local schools, nursery school, daycare and 2 of the main parks in the neighborhood (Hamilton and Jones). Status update as we enter year 3 of being promised this would be painted

We apologize for the delayed response. Crosswalks were painted across all four approaches to the intersection.
